Rare find! This is a double-sided souvenir fan from the Vichy Casino in France, dating back to 1925. It's even featured in the book "Eventails" by Pascal Payen Appenzeller (page 86) ? a real piece of fan history! One side shows a cool flapper girl in a ball gown with soft washes of color (greens, purples, and more), giving it a watercolor feel and that classic Art Deco style. The other side features the Vichy Casino in a bold orange print on cream with a delicate rose pattern. Made with printed paper and dyed wood, this fan is in excellent vintage shape for its age, with just some minor creasing. A unique collectible from the flapper era!
