Andy Pafko ( 2/25/1921-10/8/2013 ), a four time ALL-STAR, was the famous Brooklyn Dodgers outfielder who watched Bobby Thomson's "Shot Heard 'Round the World" sail over the left field wall during the 1951 National League Playoff. Thompson's 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th at the Polo Grounds gave the NY Giants the
win over the Brooklyn Dodgers in one of the signature moments in baseball history.
Andy played in four World Series over 17 years in the major leagues for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Braves.
In this game at Milwaukee County Stadium, the Braves beat the Yankees 1-0.
