Several years ago my mother picked up a bag of buttons at the second hand store. While a lot of the buttons were on cards there were also loners flying around in the bag or in little containers. Several unidentified buttons, such as these 2 Ladybugs caught our attention as being very unique! You will purchase these 2 Ladybug buttons for one price. I have only been able to find them one other place online, so I have concluded these must be a Rare Find! The owner of the others I saw says they are glass. As far as I can see theirs are identical to ours but I do not believe these are glass. Maybe some hard resin. They almost have a pearl look but not iridescent pearl. The rounded top almost looks transparent as if you could somewhat see into its layers. Face and dots are marked in gold. Length from nose to tail is approximately 1/2 inch, width is 7/16 -1/2 inch. Comes from a smoke free, no house pets home. My mother decided it is time to get rid of clutter in her house. Age and health are limiting her time and energy to accomplish the many project ideas or to continue with all the activities she used to do. I offered my assistance to find new owners for the items she no longer has a use for.
