Large Paper Edition, 51 Volumes including index, copiously illustrated, #317 of only 375 editions ever printed. Maroon buckram hardcovers w/paper labels, 8vo (9 x 6?), Very Good + approaching fine, approximately 20,000 pp. , set includes an index and an extra 51st volume being a description of the Country of Sir Walter Scott. A very light age toning to period and light soiling of the tops of the text blocks are this set?s only noticed flaws. There are no library stamps or indications of any ex-lib affiliation. All the original components are present and accounted for to the best of our knowledge.
If Sir Walter Scott wrote it; it is most likely in this behemoth work someplace. A wondrous land of one of the greatest authors to ever grace the planet. Quite the distinctive set of books and a spectacular sector of Captured Tyme!
