Here is the story on these boards: A little over 20 years ago we won a bid at a school surplus auction on a few pallets worth of surplus used computers. There was nothing wrong with them, they were just considered obsolete as the school wanted the latest and best computers for their offices and students. Not having back then, we disassembled them, and put the boards into a storage unit, figuring they would have value some day. Well now over 20 years later we pulled them out of storage to see the light of day again! As there are so many variables to how the end user can connect, program or configure computer boards, we really cannot guarantee them, other than you will receive what is shown. We do not have a way to re-test these boards. While not many of these go bad over time, there is a chance some PC boards could need new electrolytic capacitors to bring back to original specs. Buyer accepts the fact these are old and may need something. We are basically selling as parts/ as-is, however, In the rare event you feel a board you purchased is totally unusable to you, and you are willing to let us know via message " other", we may have another to exchange (Do not open a claim, as a claim will not accommodate an exchange) (exchange offer for US buyers only, international sales will only sold as/is parts/ not working. ) Please look at pictures carefully. Most have all the ICs as received, but some may have slots for added ICs or memory or even possibly missing an IC if it fell out. ONLY what is shown is included. Condition is used: Some may have signs of storage, dust, or even light surface rust on some metal parts from over 20 years of existance. Some we did some basic dusting, cleaning or sprayed sockets with contact cleaner. Some may need additional cleaning to suit your needs. We recommend if the buyer has any issues, to gently pull and reseat any ICs or plugs and respray any sockets, pins or connectors with Caig D5 DeoxIT contact cleaner. (Invest in a can! It works wonders on old connections and we use it regularly here on vintage equipment, ICs, connectors, battery terminals, pots, switches !) Priced per board.
