ACC is a mucolytic (mucus thinning) expectorant. ACC is used to thin mucus and facilitate expectoration in acute and chronic respiratory diseases.
Compound
Active substances: Acetylcysteine. One effervescent tablet contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine. Application: Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the following daily doses of ACC are recommended: mucus thinner: adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: effervescent tablet once daily (equivalent to 300 mg acetylcysteine per day). Cystic fibrosis (congenital metabolic disorder) 1 effervescent tablet once a day (corresponds to 600 mg acetylcysteine per day).
