It is a converter module that allows you to replace the old Amiga power supply with a standard ATX one, cheaper and easier to find. Why choose AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE? Extract all available voltages from the standard power supply to power other equipment or peripherals. The module provides the following voltages: +3.3 V, +5 V, +12 V, -12 V, -5 V. To turn on the power supply, just bridge two pins on the terminal block provided with the module (see symbol on the PCB). Maintain the correct operation of your Amiga, thanks to the synchronization signal ?TICK? at 50 Hz (for PAL Amiga) or 60 Hz (for NTSC Amiga) generated by the module itself with quartz precision. No need to change the jumper configuration on the Amiga motherboard. Monitor the status of the standard power supply, thanks to the bicolor LED on the module. The LED indicates: OFF = ATX power supply off RED = ATX power supply in stand-by GREEN = ATX power supply on and working How does AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE work? AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE is a simple module to use and install. Just follow these steps: Disconnect your Amiga from the mains and remove the cover of the case. Cut (or unsolder internally) the wires of the original connector from the old power supply and remove the power supply from the case. Insert the wires coming from the old connector into the contacts of the screw terminal block of the AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE module, paying close attention to the relative voltages required by your Amiga. Insert the ATX connector of the ATX power supply into the AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE module, paying attention to the correct direction. Connect the ATX power supply to the mains and turn it on. Bridge if necessary the two pins on the terminal block of the AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE module to activate the ATX power supply. Check that the LED on the AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE module is green, indicating that the ATX power supply is on and working. Turn on your Amiga and enjoy your restored computer. AMYATX ALL-IN-ONE is available as fully assembled, tested, and ready to use with a synchronization signal (AKA "TICK") at 50Hz PAL or 60Hz NTSC, with in addition two connectors to power a hard disk and a floppy disk drive, a supplementary circuitry for immediate on and delayed off of 5 seconds by means of a momentary button, and a 2-pin terminal block for output voltage of +3.3V. A support box made of 3D resin is included (see main pic). Notes: AMYATX ALL-IN ONE is a universal module/converter that can power not only Commodore Amiga computers but also other retrocomputers or devices that require the same voltages as ATX power supplies. Just use the appropriate power connectors to connect the module to the computer or equipment of your choice. AMYATX ALL-IN ONE also produces the TICK signal at different experimental frequencies from the standard ones. More advanced users can choose other frequencies according to their needs, if some applications/games use the TICK signal to optimize performance or for other special functions (see PCB's silkscreen for references).
