And while Lugosi, Karloff, and Chaney Jr. played other characters within the franchise, they are forever linked to the roles they so memorably originated. This print is from the extremely limited colorized variant set of Universal Monsters fine art lithographs, the print is signed by hand by Ross and is individually numbered out of only 150 produced. Again, only one hundred and fifty were produced! It measures 18 by 24 inches, features a white border with Ross' hand-signed signature and number designation (image shown is a stock photo), is in nm/mint and undisplayed condition, and will be shipped with the utmost care. It includes its original Certificate of Authenticity. This particular print features the top seven monsters in Universals line; Dracula as he directs the mayhem, with Frankenstein's monster occupying the central spot of the image, surrounded by The Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Monster's Bride, the Creature, and, in the forefront, the Wolf Man. The print is entitled "The Mash" (in homage to the 1962 Monster Mash novelty song by Bobby Boris Pickett which itself was a homage to the original Universal Monsters).
