MEXICO ALPACA BANGLE BRACELET Vintage Plain, Simple Silvertone HALLMARK This is a vintage BANGLE BRACELET FROM MEXICO! This is a silvertone metal bangle bracelet! It has a partial hallmark with the word "Mexico" in it. It has the look of silver, but does not test for silver. Most likey it is Alpacca or Alpaca. This is often misrepresented as silver, but is actually an alloy consisting of mostly copper (roughly 60 percent), and approximately 20 percent nickel, about 20 percent zinc, and about 5 percent tin. This metal is used a silver substitute. Wear it with the aged and tarnished look or polish it up to a nice shine! MARKED: Mexico METAL: Silvertone metal, most likely alpacca TYPE: Bangle Bracelet MEASUREMENTS: 2 1/2" in diameter, about 8" in circumference and just under 1/4" in width. It has a nice heft to it.
