This necklace measures 16 inches, but it is hard to measure so it may be 16 1/2 inches because I do find it comfortable. These pearls sit cabochon style on rope edged silver disks. It has a toggle and ring closure. It is also very heavy, weighing about 5 ounces. There is an Anne Klein tag on the ring closure. All of the pearl like material is in good shape as well as the silvertone. I wipe my jewelry with a soft cloth after wearing normally. Other than that it has never been cleaned or polished.
