This is a nice set of two Asian antique art pottery vases converted to lamps (see photos). The vases are not marked by a maker (see photos). The items have been made into lamps and each has a matching hand painted wooden base. The lamps are from a nice estate (see photos). I have taken one of the lamps apart to photograph the base (see photos). The items are old and they are from a fine estate. The lamps should be rewired before use (I recommend re-wiring all vintage lighting before use). The urns look to have been made into lamps about 70 +/- years ago. The bases are made of wood with beautiful hand painted decorations. The urns look to be Asian in origin possibly Chinese (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The items measure in total about 30 inches high to the top of the harps (each is about 21 inches high to the top of the harp) and each is about 8 inches wide at the base. The urn portions alone each measure about 12 inches high and 7 inches wide. The items have some crazing cracking to the pottery, some paint and finish losses and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
