Very attractive piece about 1 13/16 tall at the highest point and just over 6 7/8" long. Main brass bowl section has an attractive floral design in relief around the sides and an imitation cloisonne decorated handle. I think they are plum blossoms. Marked "China" on the bottom. Good condition having been actually used so has light wear mostly on the handle and there is a small indentation on the underside of the handle.. The coloring on the handle's floral section is appealing to the eye but not precisely done, this was a nicely decorated everyday item, not a decorative item. A more resource efficient style of pre-electric iron albeit not going to save you any time. But made so you can not only warm the metal body but put a few coals in it to keep the heat up.
