Antique Chinese porcelain jar, hand painted in underglaze blue, Ming Dynasty, 17thC, four lugs with iron wire handles attached, and a poring spout, heavily potted to hold in heat. Upon close examination of the jug under high magnification, I found a small insect cast into the glaze. See pics. There can be no argument on this being a true antique.
