Edwardian antique ring crafted in solid 18k yellow gold and set with Bright fiery Yellow completely transparent natural mined sapphire and halo of rose cut diamonds in the petals like settings! this ring looks like a daisy flower on your finger! size of the ring approx 6 USA weight approx 2.8g. the sapphire is 9.5X6.5x4.5mm and approx 2.22Ct. it is deep cut and it touches your skin all the time when wear! it is amazing as it was made in a way to have contact with the wearer all the time!! the ring sits low as a glove/second skin - which is typical for the period and very comfortable to wear! the sapphire is bezel set - which is the best setting since it is secure and protects the stone from all of the sides! the diamonds are nice and fiery and approx 1.5-1.7mm each. hard to tell carat total as they are rose cut. the face of the halo approx 13x10mm! hallmarks are not really readable, but tested to be solid 18k yellow gold. and the top is Platinum. this came from Europe. the photos taken under different types of indoor evening light. because of the design and the size it can be worn really with any outfit - from casual and jeans to evening when combined with another jewelry! the sapphire has fire, saturated in color and completely transparent! on the back side under magnification can be seen one black carbon inclusion (similar as in diamond) not visible to an eye. surface do not show any wear visible to eye! can be great September birthstone ring or engagement, anniversary, wedding ring!
