ESTATE SALE PURCHASE. Antique mantel clock. I believe it was made by Gilbert as the inside has a mark "April 28, 1890. FEATURES: -Authentic antique circa late 1800's to early 1900's. -Beautiful redish adamantine pillars with adorned with gold tone trim. -Perfectly aged face. -Decorative front feet as well as back feet. -Original working rear door. -Original pendulum bob. -Key Condition: The glass has no chips or cracks. All metal pieces are still on the clock as well as the back door. The clock sits nice and flat with no wobble. The body has some signs of age especially the top right but still looks good. The bezel opens and locks in place when shut. The face has the perfect amount of patina. Both sides of the clock wind. The key works for the bottom two arbors. Another key will be needed if you would like to adjust the speed. It runs for a short time and will need some oiling and maintenance to be fully functional. 11" tall and 17 3/4" wide It will be protected well and insured. I PROTECT MY ITEMS VERY WELL!
