A very fine example of a solid sterling silver string box/dispenser, dating from the late Victorian or early years of the Edwardian era. Richly decorated with repoussee foliage in the Victorian style, with a twist off lid and securing tabs in place. The decoration conceals the hallmark and the maker's mark. See close up photos.
