Antique hand made ring waiting for a stone. From the inventory of an import gift store that closed a few years ago with a lot of stuff left over in the basement. I believe this is pre-war not Taiwan or Formosa. Ladies' one-size-fits-all with overlapping adjustable bands around back. There is a very tiny dab of setting wax on it. Stamped "CHINA" on the underside. I expect it is silver as the value of the metal at the time it was made would have been about ten cents or not much more. However they use all sorts of alloys in China so I can't say for sure. I haven't tried to The detail is nice, this has the potential to become a nice finished heirloom piece.
