The item is made of bronze metal that was originally gold gilded. The bowl has two figures (one on each end) and an ornate border around the bowl (see photos). This item is not marked by a maker (see photos). The item looks to be French in origin to me (see photos). The item is antique and I would date the item to be 140 +/- years old (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation. The item measures about 10 inches high at the figural ends, it is about 11 inches from the front edge to the back side and it is about 16 inches wide. The bowl portion measures about 10.75 inches wide and it is about 3 inches high. This item has a worn gold gilt finish, some bolts could use a tightening and it has some wear (see photos).
