Originally belonging to my neighbor's Grandfather, this RARE, Hard To Find, Marked ?Brass Second Year 4H Club Scatter Lapel Pin" dates to the mid-1930s. Passed down to his father in a box of assorted pins, medals, penknives and memorabilia, it passed to my neighbor upon his father's death in 2007. Getting ready to move to a smaller home, he has NO children and has asked me to help him sell many of the things he can't take with him; this Pin come from a smoke-free, pet-free home. Measuring approximately 1/2 inch square with the pinback measuring approximately 1/2 inch long, it is Marked ?Second NY? and has a Hallmark. This Brass Second Year Pin is well embossed with GORGEOUS Clovers detailing. The PRECIOUS detailing includes raised letters spelling out "Second" with the image of a Four Leaf Clover in the center of each pin. Each leaf is marked with a raised capital letter "H" which stands for "Head, Heart, Hands Health? and ?NY? at the bottom.
