A fine copper and brass ships cabin oil lamp from the 19th century. Consisting of a brass oil font and gimballed housings in brass and etched copper. The lamp has been converted for use with mains electric and could be fitted to the wall directly or via the Oak wood mount attached. Vintage fabric covered "look a like" flex with 3 cores. This is an earthed appliance. Damages one of the four retainers for the shade is missing. some dints to font and adapted burner. No glassware provided.
