In addition to the renowned Revenant, Ash ranks among the most lethal assassins in Apex Legends. Our aim with this exceptional mask is to capture the stone finish, human-like form, and the soulless expression that defines her character. Introduction: Due to the trauma of her “death” and the process of being made into simulacrum, Ashleigh's personality fractured into two: Ash, her cold, calculating, perfectionistic, and power-hungry side of Dr. Reid, represented by her robotic visage; and Leigh, her more vulnerable and intelligent side, represented by her human visage. Ash's mask is based off porcelain "death masks", taken as a cast of the deceased's face in some cultures around the world. So now she wears a death mask from her past human self on her current robotic body. Materials and Processing: The Ash mask was made with a precision 3D printer from high quality PLA filament. This mask has the greatest strength from all of my current masks, due to its thick walls and reinforced inner structure. After the printing, it went through a careful sanding and primer painting process before it got its base colors. We used my classic weathering techniques to create that stone/porcelain like, weathered look. As one of the final steps, we've added our own fine and unique details to got this thing alive and made it as real and authentic as possible. The mask itself is a one piece, 1:1 - true to size replica of the original. The base part and the dark grey sections are not separable.
