The Origami wooden wall clock is a small piece of home decoration that measures 29cm / 11.5 in. The design concept is inspired by the Asian art form of origami. Dark wood's natural colour conveys strength and dependability. The handmade home decor was produced in Europe. This clock is composed of 24 triangular pieces (3 different angles, 8 pcs each) and the wood wears a dark brown walnut veneer. The grain direction on each triangular element follows the outer edge of the triangle thus rotates along the round dial - this gives an exciting shading effect on the dial: each element looks different from the rest, however - in reality - all elements bear the same color. - Raw material: dial is made of 4mm walnut veneered plywood board - Manufacturing process: the elements of the dial are laser cut from the 4mm veneered board, These pieces are glued on the backplate in alternating order.
