Descripción del Artículo

The "Dianakopf" mark on silver, also known as the "Diana's head" mark, is a hallmark used in Austria-Hungary from 1867 to 1922. It signifies the silver fineness and is characterized by a cartouche shape with a number indicating the fineness, with a letter added from 1872 to indicate the assay city. The mark is used for items made in Austria and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The MJ mark next to Diana?s head may indicate this cup was made in Trieste (M) and the maker would have likely had a last name beginning with J. The cup itself is not perfect as you can tell from the overhead shot but considering it was likely made between 1872 -1922, it?s in pretty good shape overall. See photos and see if it?s worth not be a part of your collection. Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer DC/AC
