This small bronze accurately depicts a famous Sioux Indian Chief Shot in the Eye. Authentic period photograph of Chief shown below illustrates the skill of Kauba in depicting every true to life feature of Shot in the Eye. Casting is remarkable for the open air between limbs and headdress. The long tobacco bag hangs freely with tiny beaded pattern visible.
