The Automatic Electric Candlestick Rotary Dial Telephone from circa 1915 is a rare and valuable collectible item. Made in the United States by the Automatic Electric company, this pre-1940 telephone features a unique rotary dial system for making calls, giving it a nostalgic charm that appeals to collectors of vintage telephones. Its design with a candlestick base adds to its historical appeal, making it a standout piece for any telecommunications enthusiast. An original Automatic Electric candlestick telephone with rotary dial, circa 1915. Features cloth covered cord and nickel handset, dial and plate. Recently fully restored, and operational. The telephone measures 12" tall by 6" in diameter. The rotary dial emits a pulse signal which is only operational on ATT service. Alternate telephone services only recognizes a tone signal as emitted on touch tone telephones. An adapter is required to convert a pulse signal to a tone signal to enable the telephone to call out.
