Here we have a beautiful vintage maple blanket chest with domed rounded top in very good used vintage condition. Jusr gorgeous. Has a nice apron trim on the bottom. Measures a nice size 41 inches long by 24 inches high by 24 inches deep. All solid wood. Made by Wurtz Woodcraft, Audubon, PA., Made in the USA. This is just the most beautiful chest, with dovetailing on the corners, very well made top quality by hand probably. The wood inside the chest is so smooth, it must have been well sanded in the making process. It has a wonderful aroma when you open the lid. This is a very unique piece. I have never seen a blanket chest like this before. This would look absolutely gorgeous at the bottom of your bed in your master bedroom. Or in any room you need a little more storage. The color will blend with any decor whether cabin, country, farmhouse, eclectic. Just a beautiful well made piece. Could be Amish. Has a lock but no key. Lock needs a little work. Does not line up and needs adjustment . Pick up only . You can have this chest shipped but you will have to arrange and pay for the shipping your self separately.
