Grosset Dunlap. Copyright 1943. 1945 or 1946 printing. #13 in the series. Very good book. Wartime paper, but not fragile or brittle. No writing/marking. Blue cameo endpapers. Acceptable dust jacket. It's intact, but marred by a sticker removal scar on the front, and large chunks missing at both the top and bottom of the spine. There's a strip of tape near the top right of the dust jacket rear, moving slightly onto the top of the jacket spine. It's price-clipped. Lists to #15, BG's Challenge (1945) at front jacket flap, to Judy Bolton Rainbow Riddle (1946) at rear flap, and to Nancy Drew Quest of the Missing Map (1942) on jacket rear. Probably a 1945 printing, but if Rainbow Riddle was already published, and not just anticipated as a book "coming soon" to a bookstore near you, it might be a 1946 printing. Nice book, but price is adjusted due to dust jacket flaws. Protected in mylar. BG13R
