Descripción del Artículo

Subject(s): Scene from movie. Format: 8 x 10 Glossy Photograph. Origin: Authentic RKO Radio Picture movie photo provided to media outlets for promotional purposes. Release Date: 1937 Condition: Fair to Good with some pin holes, crimping and corner wear Comments: Keith Whitney (John Beal), the badly spoiled son of eastern Senator Whitney (George Irving), is constantly in trouble, and his parents plead with him, as does his fiancee Janet Barry (Marjorie Lord), but in vain. He runs away to Verde, Texas and is attracted to Domingo (Armida), the featured singer/dancer at Gomez' Cantina. Rancher Tex Stevens (Harry Carey), tells the local Texas Rangers that eastern gangsters, headed by "Rocky" Alton (J. Carrol Naish), are rustling his cattle and using trucks to haul them away. Tex and Keith become friends and when the latter learns his parents and Janet are coming to Texas, Tex agrees to pretend he has sold Keith an interest in his ranch. Keith is left to explain Domingo, who has followed him, as the ranch cook, while Tex has to continue to battle "Rocky's" rustlers, who are now poisoning the water holes.
