In domestic water applications it offers scalding protection and bacteria growth control. By installing one of these unique valves, and raising water heater storage temperature, and limiting mixed outlet water temperature to safe temperature, more usable hot water will be available. In heating applications, the valves will provide comfort and will protect the equipment.
