About the artists: Irwin Hasen (1918-2015) is perhaps best known as the co-creator of Wildcat but during the Golden Age of Comics he also worked on the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Wonder Woman, Johnny Thunder, All-Star Comics (Justice Society of America) and Sargon the Sorcerer. He was a member of the National Cartoonists Society, taught at the Joe Kubert School, and won awards for Best Story Strip in 1961 and 1962 for Dondi, which he worked on for 32 years. Terry Dodson (1969 - ) is a contemporary comic book artist known for his clean, expressive style and strong depictions of female characters. He began his career in the 1990s with work on Mantra for Malibu Comics before gaining prominence at Marvel with titles like Generation X, Spider-Man/Black Cat, and X-Men. Dodson has also worked extensively for DC, notably on Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn, often collaborating with his wife, inker Rachel Dodson. His work is celebrated for its vibrant linework, dynamic compositions, and a classic yet modern aesthetic.
