Descripción del Artículo

THE MAN WHO WAS THURSDAY by G. K. Chesterton Ballantine Books, First Ballantine Printing, 1971 Condition: Very Good+ This is regarded as the most scarce title in the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series. Lin Carter, in his Introduction, calls THE MAN WHO WAS THURSDAY a Curious Classic -- it's difficult to classify. Is it a mystery (like the author's Father Brown stories)? Is it a fantasy? Is it a satire? Of course, it's all of these, and then some. At any rate, most agree this is Chesterton's best novel. This copy has some small front cover scratches and soiling, modest wear along the spine and cover edges and moderate page toning; otherwise, a sharp, unmarked copy.
