Fantastic Spectacular! This Vintage Signed De Curtis Ice and Sapphire Blue and White Crystal Rhinestone Brooch, is 12K Gold Filled and is a figural shape of a girl, with long gold leaf scroll hair. Her head and wings are sapphire blue crystal rhinestones, while the body, arms and 2 legs are made of brilliant white crystal rhinestones. These are all prong set. The blue stones are larger than the white ones. They are set in the enclosed gold backing, and is engraved De Curtis 12012K G.F. in the circle on the back. This Victorian Art Deco brooch is in excellent vintage condition with no missing stones and it is bright and sparkly, reflecting the light beautifully! The legs on the brooch can move and are not stationary, they hang freely. The closure is a roll over safety clasp type. This is a very unique and beautiful piece and was made in the 1940's-50. This is a piece from my Grandmother's estate jewelry collection. It will come in it's own velvet lined Golbro jewelry box for safe keeping for years. The box is suitable for gift giving. Stamped in Gold on the top of the box is "Golbro a gift of Gold' and is brown and gold. The inside is velvet coffee colored padded fabric.
