Descripción del Artículo

*Most likely this chamber pot was created between 1894-1903* John Hall, Robert Hall, and Monroe Patterson founded the East Liverpool Pottery Company in 1894. In 1901, the East Liverpool Pottery Company was one of six potteries that formed the East Liverpool Potteries Company. Globe Pottery Company, East End Pottery Company, George C. Murphy Pottery Company, Wallace and Chetwynd from East Liverpool, and United States Pottery Company from Wellsville were the other companies. The new organization had a combined capacity of 31 kilns, rivaling Knowles, Taylor Knowles. John and Robert Hall left East Liverpool Potteries Company to establish their firm in 1903. In July of the same year, other members, including East Liverpool Pottery Company, left the co-operative and resumed independent operations. The Globe Pottery Company and United States Pottery Company continued to operate as the East Liverpool Potteries. The East Liverpool Pottery ended production around 1903.
