Ectodose is an isotonic solution used as an auxiliary in the treatment of inflammation and symptoms of respiratory diseases - in allergic and non-allergic asthma, bronchitis as well as in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Package: 20 x 2.5ml ampules. Ectodose protects and moisturizes the mucous membrane of the airways, eg when in contact with dust, pollen, dust or dry air in heated or air-conditioned rooms. Ectodose prevents the occurrence of symptoms of allergic reactions from the respiratory system in people suffering from eg allergic asthma, allergic rhinitis, etc. In the supportive treatment of symptoms of bronchitis, Ectodose prevents the drying of mucous membranes and thins the thick mucus to facilitate expectoration. Ectodose can be administered using a pneumatic, mesh and ultrasound nebulizer. Directions for use: Ectodose should always be used as described in the package leaflet. If in doubt, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Unless otherwise advised by your doctor, Ectodose should be inhaled with a nebulizer up to twice a day, at a single dose of 2.5 ml. Before inhaling the preparation, make sure that the inhaler is clean and free from dirt. Children under the age of 10 should use the preparation under the supervision of an adult. Peel off the ampule containing one dose of the preparation and open it by turning the upper part. Pour the contents of the ampule into a nebuliser (medicine container). For production reasons, a small amount of liquid may remain on the bottom of the ampule. Use the inhaler in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. For children up to 2 years of age, inhalation of the solution may require special equipment (eg a matching mask for children). Use the equipment recommended by the nebulizer manufacturer. The solution should be inhaled slowly. Ingredients: Ectoin 1.3% (Ectoin), sea salt, water. Contraindications: It should not be used in the case of sustained injuries, eg after surgery in the respiratory system. It should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to ectoine or other components of the preparation. If any side effects occur, stop using it immediately and consult a physician.
