The tongs are in very good condition, however, they do have some wear to the finish and some light staining from use. I am unsure of the exact age of the tongs. The tongs are 15" long in total, and are 2" wide across the tongue edges. They are certainly large enough to pick up pretty much any size steak, chicken, fish, or any other thing that you may be barbecuing.
