Descripción del Artículo
Famous Handicrafts In Malaysia :
1. Hand drawn batik : Embedded in Malay culture, Batik is one of the oldest forms of craft in
the world. Batik is a form of art that transforms a simple white cloth
into vibrant colors using wax-resist dyeing techniques.
2. Making Moon Kite : Wau bulan or 'moon kite' is an
intricately designed Malaysian kite (normally with floral motifs) that
is traditionally flown in the Malaysian state of Kelantan. It is one of
Malaysia's national symbols.
3.Hand made Labu Sayung : A Traditional Malay Jar used in Malaysia, the Labu Sayong is a popular handicraft. Kuala Kangsar
of the Perak state has long captured the essence of Labu Sayong, which
is made with a special clay found in Perak. Most Labu Sayong are shaped
like a gourd.
4. Basket weaving : In Sabah and Sarawak, traditional baskets are woven by hand by the people using
rattan, bamboo, and other plants found in the rich jungles of Borneo,
and have been used for hunting, farming, and other daily activities. The
shapes and designs are surprisingly diverse, with sizes and shapes
differing greatly depending on the purpose.
