This adapter screws to the side of any standard double DIN aftermarket radio, using the screws which should have come with that radio. Then it is mounted to the dash using the bolts you removed when you took out the factory radio. In the same holes as the factory radio. Easy peasy. It has a finished edge around the front that fills the space left between the aftermarket stereo and the edge of the factory dash trim piece. So you get a nice, neat look.
