We knew we had something special then as we graded this extraordinary $5 plate letter B note Superb Gem New with boardwalk margins and with equally perfect face and back centering. Also, the colors of both the paper and the inks are ideal, while the original embossing is deep. In closing we stated, "This is overall as fine a $5 Ed as we have ever handled or are ever likely to handle in the future." We still believe that prophecy and we do not casually use the word "boardwalk" for margins. PCGS Banknote has graded three equal and none higher, while PMG has not graded a single Fr. 268 equal or higher.
