Brand new oem replacement cd mechanism This is easy to install. Steps to Remove cd mechanism: 1: Remove the top cover from the radio. 2: Remove the faceplate of the radio (generally 2 phillips screws on each side holding the faceplate onto the radio) 3: Pry clips holding faceplate on and remove faceplate 4: use phillips screwdriver and remove the 2 screws on the front and back holding cd mechanism in and lift mechanism up out of the radio. 5: Unplug the ribbon cable on the old cd mechanism and install on new mechanism. 7: Reverse steps to put the radio back together. 8: Start enjoying your cd's again!!! Replace your non working cd mechanism with this brand new replacement. If you replace your cd mechanism it will save you from having to have a replacement radio reprogrammed at the dealer.
