This gator was caught legally in Louisiana. This is a 22.5" long necklace with One 3-1/4" gator tooth, two 2-7/8" teeth 13x7 mm oval off-white water buffalo ache beads; 14x10 faceted clear dark purple glass beads; 14k gold plated lobster claw and tab closure. WE MAKE THESE NECKLACES OURSELVES, and recommend them for their unique designs and high quality of beads, wire t**th. Shown front, then back, it is reversible. Gators are raised on farms in Louisiana; those hunted during the legal hunt are required to be processed at the farm. The hides are sold for leather products, the meat is eaten locally or prepared as jerky, the guts go into the cat and dog food industry ("animal byproducts") and the heads and feet (freeze dried and coated in polyurethane) and t**th are sold to commercial stores. Gators have three sets of t**th, one inside the other (like Tupperware) that's why they're hollow; t**th are shed periodically.
