ReplacementRadios, one of the largest factory audio/video websites, has branched out!! If you?ve been to our site, you know we have a HUGE selection of OEM radios and compatible accessories. Now we?re offering a few select products here too. Same great ReplacementRadios quality.....in a new location. DETAILS This Radio Specialty adapter kit is everything you need to swap a newer GM (Delco) radio into your older GM vehicle. It makes a newer 20-pin GM radio installation plug and play**. Don't cut your factory harness and splice in a different plug. Keep your classic car intact. DON'T settle for some cut and splice adapter either. Splices = potential problems... Most GM radios from the 1970's to 1988* used a 12 prong plug. Most GM radios from the 90s used a 20 pin plug. (Some early 90s GM radios had a 21-pin plug. This is not compatible with those radios unless you cut one of the plugs out of the adapter. Then you might have some wires that are required by your radio that you would have to figure out how to connect. We cannot provide information on the 21-pin radios.) The 80s radios used a larger antenna plug too. This kit comes with the wiring adapter and an antenna adapter. Update your vehicle while still maintaining a factory look. It's a great way to get CD capability and better sound quality!!** (A radio is NOT included. We sell radios that can be used with this adapter package. Drop us an email if you have questions.) Some vehicles from the 80s (like the Fiero) had a Performance Sound System. For these vehicles you MAY need to perform a simple wiring mod in order for the sub to function properly. The mod is within the wiring adapter and we provide instructions for the Fiero. One year warranty included! *Below is a list of GM models/years we show used the 12-prong plug. If your vehicle is on this list, you can use this adapter to make the wiring plug and play on a newer (1990s + some 2000-2002) 20 pin radio, provided your vehicle wasn't equipped with a special sound system (like Bose) and provided you are not trying to put a BOSE head unit in an older vehicle. Please also note it was not uncommon for GM to switch plug styles in the middle of a model year. So, in some cases, not all cars on this list will have the 12-prong plug in the last year listed. (If you have a 1989 Camaro, for example, you will want to make sure your car does not already have a 20 or 21-pin plug before purchasing this adapter.) Buick Century 1978-1987 Buick Electra 1980-1987 Buick LeSabre 1980-1991 Buick Park Avenue 1980-1987 Buick Regal 1978-1987 Buick Riviera 1979-1985 Buick Skyhawk 1982-1989 Buick Skylark 1980-1985 Buick T-Type 1984-1987 Cadillac Cimarron 1982-1988 Cadillac Deville 1977-1987 Cadillac Eldorado 1978-1991 Cadillac Fleetwood 1977-1987 Cadillac Seville 1977-1991 Chevrolet Astro 1985-1991 Chevrolet Blazer Fullsize 1973-1988 Chevrolet Blazer S10 1982-1991 Chevrolet Camaro 1978-1989 Chevrolet Caprice 1977-1990 Chevrolet Cavalier 1982-1987 Chevrolet Celebrity 1982-1990 Chevrolet Citation 1985 Chevrolet Corvette 1977-1989 Chevrolet El Camino 1978-1987 Chevrolet Impala 1977-1985 Chevrolet Malibu 1978-1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1978-1988 Chevrolet Nova 1985-1988 Chevrolet Pickup Full Size 1973-1987 Chevrolet Pickup S10 1982-1991 Chevrolet Suburban 1973-1988 Chevrolet Van 1978-1987 GMC Jimmy Full Size 1973-1988 GMC Jimmy S15 1982-1991 GMC Pickup Full Size 1973-1987 GMC Pickup S15 1982-1991 GMC Safari 1985-1991 GMC Suburban 1973-1988 GMC Van 1978-1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais 1985-1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera 1982-1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 1984-1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 1985-1988 Oldsmobile Delta 98 1977-1985 Oldsmobile Firenza 1982-1988 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight 1984-1987 Oldsmobile Omega 1980-1984 Oldsmobile Starfire 1975-1981 Oldsmobile Toronado 1979-1989 Pontiac 6000 1982-1991 Pontiac Bonneville 1977-1991 Pontiac Catalina 1977-1981 Pontiac Fiero 1984-1988 Pontiac Firebird 1977-1989 Pontiac Grand Am 1985-1987 Pontiac Grand Prix 1978-1987 Pontiac 2000 1982-1983 Pontiac Le Mans 1978-1981 Pontiac Parisienne 1983-1986 Pontiac Phoenix 1980-1984 Pontiac Sunbird 1975-1988 This adapter kit does NOT include the steering wheel control plug. **Statements with regard to the ease of installation refer to the wiring and antenna adapters. You are responsible for making sure the newer radio you buy fits in your dash and can be mounted correctly. With the exception of a couple models, many Chevy, GMC and Pontiac radios from the 90s used the 20 pin plug. The same thing applies for some Oldsmobile and Buick radios from the early 90s. SHIPPING Shipping cost is based on weight and zip code. This site does the figuring, not us. If you feel their calculation is high, you might be underestimating the package weight and/or current shipping costs from our zip code (62401) to yours. Please don't ding us for shipping in the ratings, as we have no control over ever-increasing carrier rates. We will enter a tracking number into your order details here on the site. They will email it to you if your notification preferences are set correctly. A signature is not typically required. If you are not home to receive the package, it will most likely be left at your door. Please monitor it's progress and arrange to collect it when it arrives. This site provides a section/tab in each ad for Shipping information. We encourage you to check that section for prices, methods, time-frames, etc.
