This is the 1927 edition, but the third printing. It has no dust jacket and I think there never was a jacket. It has a lot of smudges, which may or may not be food related. The inside appears to be free of splatters and torn pages. The binding is in good shape. The edges are a little smushed from standing on a shelp and the edges of the cover are a little turned. On the back, at the binding there is a tiny tear,near the top, that looks like a fingernail tip went into it when someone was pulling it off a shelf. It has been in a smoke free home.
