It is in very good condition, for an antique piece but does have a lot of surface scratches to the finish from general use over many years. The buffet has a two-toned finish, with inlaid panels that are ornately carved and are finished a little darker than the rest of the piece. The buffet has two drawers, and two doors that open to large inner compartments with one shelf on each side. The doors and drawers all have the original brass hardware on them. One side of the buffet has had a magnetic closure installed to help with keeping the door closed. The spot where the mirrored top fits onto the buffet can clearly be seen in the wear at the top of the buffet. The drawers have dovetail joints. The original wood paneled back is still intact and in good condition as well. The buffet is 38” tall, 60” wide, 20.5” deep, and the mirrored top adds another 36" with a bit more for the additional trim at the top. The mirrored top also has beautiful carved details and detailed spindle accents at each end. The mirror has a one-inch bevel around the outer perimeter.
