They can be useful if the 3M is not sufficient, has lost it's grip from poor surface adhesion, or you're installing on porous surface that require screws. The listing is to buy in packs of 12 brackets. They are made of durable PETG with thick walls to withstand harsh rain or sun weather conditions. I sell with or without screws. If you purchase with screws, I provide #4 1/4" rust resisting stainless steel screws that install for flush look (see photo) that should match the OEM screws provided with lights.
