The flap secures with a magnetic clasp. Back of bag has a snap flap that opens to a slip pocket. There is a larger middle area with outer zipper areas. Middle area secures with zipper closure that has a Guess zipper pull on it and has a back wall zippered pocket. Love the Guess signature lining in this bag, so pretty. I have carried this one my self for those days I only want to carry a small amount with me. Perfect purse for the gal that likes the smaller satchels. I took this out of storage and found a small area under the back flap of bag that is yellowed some. I have taken some close ups of it and even the close ups make it look worse than it is. It is a bit more of a faded color than it seems to show here in the pics.. Since it is under the flap it really isn't even seen until you lift it up for getting something out of the pocket.
