Handcrafted by myself using galvanized steel wire strands. They are designed after natural occurring trees and are each a unique creation of their own. It is perfect for display in your home or office or a personal gift for him or her. Individual wire strands are cut and straightened by hand. The strands are then twisted together to create the trunk, branches, and roots. The leaves are individually shaped using a set of pliers. The wire undergoes a special process preventing it from rusting, tarnishing or corroding which will keep your piece shiny and vibrant for many years to come. Caring for your sculpture: While this art piece is moderately delicate, it is sturdy and durable and can withstand mild handling. A dry or damp washcloth will remove dust and increase its shine over the years. The wire will never break however, in the event of an accident, the wire will bend somewhat easily. Simply bend the wire back in place and it will look as good as new. A single strand of these individual copper strands measures 20 gauge/0.81mm/0.032” in thickness. This item weighs 496g / 1lb 1oz
