It can automatically scan the entire body in less than 2 seconds. We use it for automatic temperature capture. It is 3x faster than a handheld thermometer and a highly efficient temperature measurement device that we use to detect and record any high body temperatures when on location. We used it among ourselves and tested it against a digital thermometer that was deemed accurate. It did well and will be a useful tool for us.
