These handmade copper earrings are long dangle earrings with turquoise howlite. Each link was shaped and hammered by hand from solid copper wire and wire wrapped with turquoise howlite beads. The ear wires were also made by hand from copper wire. The combination of copper and turquoise is a match made in heaven as goes with almost everything. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
