A good method for doing this is to use a Sharpie to mark the center of the snap onto the surface you want to install the cover on to. Fasnap Brand stainless steel snaps preinstalled into the hatch cover. The 3/8" screw studs are also Fasnap Brand stainless steel. Edges are reinforced with 1.5" inch polypro webbing and the snaps are set into the webbing for added durability. The webbing is resistant to acids as well as alkali environments. The stated size is 2' X 2' feet. The actual size is 26" X 26". Why do we do this? Once the cover is put into place it may be raised in the center causing the edges to be a bit short. We try to keep this in mind when manufacturing these covers. Additionally the webbing and vinyl are designed to last for years but it could shrink a bit over time.
