This Icon is written in Russian-Byzantine style, it is a copy of Angel Hesychia written by Prosopon school of Iconology. Prosopon is an iconographic school rooted in 15 century Russia. It is gilded with 24 carat gold and written with egg tempera prepared traditionally from scratch from pigments. It is written on high quality 2 cm thick wood panel. Traditionally when writing an Icon we pray for those for whom it is meant.
